Are we too obsesed with fitness?

Majority of people on television and in magazines are fit and slim. Healthy lifestyle is propagated at every turn. I think that people have become too obsessed with fitness. For many of them being fit is the most important thing in life. They spend hours in the gym, even though they don’t like it at all. Care about figure and weight often causes serious illnesses like anorexia. It affects people, who want to be to ideal and slim. They resign from their hobbies and spend every free minute in a swimming pool or a gym.

Obviously we should care about our health and condition, but it shouldn’t become a main goal in life. People should treat sport as a way to feel better and happier. Everything should be done in moderation.
